The Brothers of Gamma Mu Lambda, joined by Brothers from Iota Delta and Beta Nu, honored Founders’ Day with a powerful series of events that strengthened our bonds, celebrated our heritage, and deepened our commitment to service.
We opened the celebration with a spirited kickoff dinner, followed by our annual Fish Fry—an evening filled with good food, great energy, and brotherhood at its best. Our service focus continued during a meaningful visit to Miracle Hill Nursing Home & Rehabilitation Center, where Brothers delivered donated items and shared heartfelt reflections in honor of the facility’s legacy, founded by Brother Moses General Miles.
The momentum carried into our annual Founders’ Day Breakfast at Jo’Ellen’s Restaurant, where we recognized chapter awardees Bro. Dr. Gregory J. Harris (Moses G. Miles Brother of the Year Award) and Bro. De’Garryan Andrews (Esprit de Fraternité), and received a powerful charge from Bro. Honorable Andrew Dixon. We then gathered at the gravesite of Jewel Charles Henry Chapman for our solemn graveside service honoring Brothers who have entered Omega Chapter.
The week concluded with a warm welcome from Bethel Missionary Baptist Church. Together, these moments reflected the true spirit of Alpha—fellowship, service, and a love for all mankind.
