GML 80th Anniversary Commemorative Ball
The Gamma Mu Lambda Chapter’s 80th Anniversary Commemoration/Scholarship Ball, “An Evening of Alpha Brilliance,” was truly a historic and memorable celebration of 80 years of service, leadership, scholarship, and brotherhood in the Tallahassee community. Held in an atmosphere of elegance and excellence, the evening brought together brothers, family, friends, supporters, and community leaders to honor the chapter’s enduring legacy and impact while looking ahead to an even brighter future. From the powerful moments of fellowship and recognition to the vibrant music, dancing, and celebration throughout the night, the event reflected the spirit, unity, and prestige of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. Most importantly, the occasion served as a reminder of the chapter’s continued commitment to uplifting the community and supporting future generations through scholarship and service.

“Brothers at the Golf Range” was a great evening of fellowship, networking, and friendly competition as the brothers of Gamma Mu Lambda came together to strengthen bonds in a relaxed atmosphere. The event highlighted the chapter’s commitment to brotherhood, connection, and meaningful engagement beyond the chapter setting.
Griffin Heights Bike Donation
What an incredible day at Griffin Heights yesterday! Through our Bicycle Donation Drive, we were blessed with the opportunity to put 18 brand-new bicycles into the hands of 18 deserving children—each one representing freedom, joy, and possibility.
This wasn’t just about bikes—it was about direct impact. Smiles were exchanged, confidence was built, and a community felt seen and supported. Moments like these remind us why showing up matters and why service at the grassroots level creates real change.
We’re proud to serve, proud to partner, and proud to continue being a positive force right where it counts most—in the community.

Sabal Palm Elementary Thanksgiving/Turkey Drive
Brothers of Gamma Mu Lambda and Iota Delta Chapters of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. stepped up for the Sabal Palm Elementary Thanksgiving/Turkey Drive. Every turkey, gift card, and donation went straight into the hands of families who truly needed support going into the holiday.
Brothers came out and their presence really mattered. The relief and gratitude from the families said everything — this effort met real needs at the right time.

Amos P. Godby High School Partnership
The Brothers of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Gamma Mu Lambda Chapter, were proud to provide lunch to the dedicated faculty and staff of Godby High School as they prepared for the 2025–2026 academic year. We sincerely thank Godby High School, Leon County Schools, and the Brothers who helped make this initiative possible. This effort reflects our commitment and partnership with the school through the Alpha Educational & Leadership Foundation.
Big Brothers, Big Sisters “Bowl for Kids’ Sake”
Brothers of the Gamma Mu Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. showed up in support of the Big Brothers Big Sisters “Bowl For Kids’ Sake” event at Capital Lanes! Together, we helped raise funds to support youth mentorship and life-changing programs that empower the next generation.
